Our kids crave fun and excitement, they won't sit still. But books require a bit of quiet.

Try the slight boredom of a car trip. Supress the electronics, get your kids buy-in by choosing one of the books they will have to read for school.

Get into projects

Taking a photocopy of the map from the Hobbit, and turning it into a 3D model

While reading the Hobbit, from J.R.R. Tolkien, we found a nice way to get deeper into the storry:

 build the landscape, note down the landmarks, work out the itinerary took by Bilbo, Gandhalf and the dwarves, replay the story in your mind.

Imagine….
